She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard "Dick" Carroll; her parents, Joseph Worring and Rosabelle "Rose" Worring; her daughters, Brenda Semke (Von) and Christine Schwepker (Jeff); her grandchildren, Ryan Semke, Brooke Semke, Paige Schwepker and Joe Schwepker; and her sibling Christy McGrath (Mike).

Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to Shriner's Hospital, in gratitude for the care she received there as a child with polio.
