She was predeceased by: her parents, Burlon Jenkerson and Pearl Jenkerson (McCutcheon); her spouse Harlow Shapley Gammon; and her siblings, Eugene, Donald, Delano, Johnny, Cletus Jenkerson, Gladene Lashley, Mary Bell Currington, Doris Preston, Ruthie Stinnet, Rita Jae Woffard and Susie Lundmark.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Lampe of St. Charles and David Gammon of St. Charles; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Misha and Sammy; her great grandchild Kathryn; and her siblings, Blanche White, Janice Gowen, David, Charlie and James Jenkerson. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Memorials may be given to the cemetery.
