He was predeceased by: his parents, William Steen and Florence Spindler; his sister Carol Jean (Buford "Punch" Cash); and his brother-in-law Roland Nickleson. He is survived by: his wife Carole Steen (Eudaley) of St. Charles; his children, Theresa Steen (Lee Martin) of Lake St, Caroline Hannon (Robert) of Lake St, William Steen (Kayla Woodland) of St. Charles, Elissa Steen (John Marshall) of St. Charles and Melanie Steen (Shan Lawson) of O'Fallon; his siblings, Judy Budde (Doug) of St. Louis and John Steen of Oregon; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Montross, Ashlynn Brown, Isabelle Brown, Braden Hannon, Addison Marshall, Spencer Marshall and Declan Marshall. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
