He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery DeWitt and Blanche DeWitt (Layman); and his brother Leon DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Arlene DeWitt; and his children, Richard DeWitt (Dianna), Donald DeWitt, Stephen DeWitt (Carol), Robert DeWitt (Gretchen) and Sherry Collier (Kevin). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren.
