He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Pingel; his parents, Leonard Pingel and Verna Pingel; and his siblings, Lila Beck (Don) and Lorrell Pingel (Kathy).
He is survived by: his children, Doug Pingel (Dana), Denise Scoffic (Michael) and Dora Hyslop (Scott); his grandchildren, Sarah Stephens (Aaron), Matthew Pingel, Alex Capestany-Kress (Andrew) and Nicholas Hyslop; his great grandchildren, Analee Stephens and Adalia Kress; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Mohn (Connie) and Myrna Hamann (Jon).
