Cheryl K. Gerdes Obituary
We announce the death of Cheryl K. Gerdes (Saint Charles, Missouri), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 64. Cheryl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schaber and June Schaber; and her siblings, Vince Schaber, Michelle Tinger (Herb) and Sheila Chittenden.
She is survived by: her children, Dwight Agusta Gerdes (Mallory), Devin Gerdes and Deidre LaRosa (Vince); her grandsons, Dwight "DJ" Gerdes, Ben Gerdes and Giovanni LaRosa; and the father of her children Dwight.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Baue Funeral Home - Cave Springs (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Cheryl's name to The National Fragile X Foundation. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
