He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Smith; and his brother Brent. He is survived by: his father James Smith; his children, David Smith and Christine Cowin (Jake); his grandchildren, Landen Cowin and Aiden Cowin; and his siblings, Norman Smith (Cotton), Donna Goodman (Jeff), Patty Eichelberger (Bill), Janet Hetlage (Tom) and Carol Price (Erin).
