He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marti Louise May; his parents, Mary May and Robert Eugene May; his children, Tony May (Maggie), Ryan May (Kellie), Andy May (Melissa), Ken Vondersaar (Valerie) and Jake May; his grandchildren, Sidney, Paige, Ryleigh, Olivia, Clara, Nathan, Lucas, Claire and Hailey; and his sister Elaine Stevenson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Darrel's name to Tunnel to Towers.
