With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don E. Lauer of Saint Charles, Missouri, born in Macon, Missouri, who passed away on September 2, 2021 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don E. Lauer to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Lauer; his parents, Don A. Lauer and Dora Mae Lauer; his children, David "Kevin" Lauer, Susan Lauer, Dawn Lauer and Ryan Lauer (Alicia); his grandchild Jordan Lauer (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Emery Lauer and Noelani Lauer.

“Don was truly a wonderful person. He was loved by many. I knew Don through our VFW post 2866. He had a passion for collecting guns, any question i ever had about a weapon, he was my go to guy! I'm pretty sure he knew just about everything when it came to guns! Lol His true love in his life is his wife Carolyn. He loved her and took wonderful care of her when she wasn't able to. He loved his daughter's and grandchildren with his entire heart. May Don rest in peace. Jennifer Dotson-kyser”
