She is survived by: her husband Jim Koop; her children, Kathy Ellis (Jewett) and Matthew Koop; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Wooten (Justin), Kurtis Ellis, Suzanne Ellis and Tea Koop; and her siblings, Jan Nowak (Ken), Debbie Toney (Dan) and Nancy Nickell.
