He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Donald Joseph Higgins Jr.; his daughter-in-law Pamela Renee Higgins; his grandchildren, Joseph Higgins, Kailey Higgins (Braddy), Amanda and Cory Plotner; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Emily, Kenleigh, Jack and Leo; and his massive extended Robinson.
