He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dewey and Bertie Garrett; and his children, Richard Garrett of Spring, TX, Daryl Garrett (Kim) of Dardenne Prairie, MO and Donna Tew of Ormond Beach, FL.
He is survived by: his spouse Estel Garrett; his children, Michael Garrett (Jacqueline) of Kemah, TX, Bobby Garrett (Elaine) of Winder, GA, Milissa Tharp (Darryl) of Union, MO and Kimberley Besgrove (Philip) of Wildwood, MO; and his siblings, Billy Garrett of Winder, GA and Carolyn Crane of Winder, GA.
