He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Ann Wareing; and his parents, Zenith Clyde Wareing and Violet Elizabeth Wareing. He is survived by: his girlfriend Lori Akins; his children, Lori Mahala (Terry Shirley), Scott Wareing (Sandy), Jason Wareing (Jennifer) and Jeff Wareing (Michelle); his grandchildren, Marc, Bethany, Alyana, Jordan, Coby, Nash and Colton Wareing; and his siblings, Jacqueline Scarborough, Linda King, William Wareing and Carol "Jeanie" Grayson.
Memorials may be made in Donald's name to Vietnam Veterans or to the Patriot Guard Riders.
