He is survived by: his wife Joy Dunkmann; his children, Gabe Dunkmann (Kristine), Sam Dunkmann (Jenny), Katie Betts (Eric), Ted Dunkmann (Kate) and Abby Smith (Zach); his siblings, Dennis, Darrell, David, Donald Dunkmann and Debbie Moffitt; his granddaughters, Lila and Annabelle Dunkmann; and his siblings, Raegan, Hank, Ruthy Dunkmann, Leo, Wyatt, Duke Betts, George, Leander, Ike Dunkmann, Jovie, Vivian and Gloria Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
