He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Holtgraewe and Frieda Echelmeier; his wife Audrey Dean Haake; his children, Brian Holtgraewe (Dana), Sharon Renfroe (Dave), David Holtgraewe (Penny) and Diane Fix (Perry); his grandchildren, Nicholas Renfroe (Brittany), Christina Skrivan (Chad), Austin Holtgraewe (Michelle), Kyle Holtgraewe (Amanda), Megan Miller (Jake), Dustin Hodges, Carmen Picker (Addison), Drew Holtgraewe, Samantha Knollmeyer (Adam) and Kelsey O'Brien (Zach); and his great grandchildren, Madelynn, Jameson, Charlie, Azalea, Wade and Hayes.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John United Church of Christ (405 S 5th St, St Charles, MO 63301). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made in Mr. Holtgraewe's name to St. John UCC-St. Charles or to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
