He was predeceased by: his wife Eula Marie Berrong; his parents, Marion Odis Berrong and Stella May Berrong; his brothers, Eugene Berrong, Lowell E. Berrong (Christine) and Bobbie L. Berrong; and his brother-in-law Roy Haynie.

He is survived by: his children, Sandra J. Duncan (Ricky L.) of Saint Charles, MO and Randy E. Berrong; his grandchildren, Jeremy L. Duncan (Amanda L.) and Cassidy M. Duncan; his great grandchildren, Madeline L. Duncan, Kiley M. Duncan and Sincere T. McDaniels; his sister Neola M. Haynie; and his sister-in-law Helen Berrong. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
