She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Emke; and her parents, Henry Friederich and Emelia Friederich. She is survived by: her children, Mary Emke, Sr., Ruth Emke, Carolyn Neff (Robert), Florence Emke and Ralph Emke (Gayle); and her grandchildren, Catherine, Anne-Marie, Joseph, Thomas, Julie, Jennifer, Lisa, Kimberly and Lori.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Emmy's name to the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
