He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Aloysius and Goldie Carmaleta Goodwin Klote; his wife Judith E. Campbell; his daughter Roberta Klote Hess; his siblings, Jerome Klote and Mary Margaret Dewey; and his grandson Richard Tarvydas II.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Kathy Klote), Jeff (Christine Klote) and Alesia (David Magruder); his grandchildren, Ashley Woodruff (Ben), Logan McKinney (Maeghan), Emily Pyfrom (Trae), Ryan Tarvydas (Abby), Michael Hess, Brian (Kerri Hess), Cheyanne Baxter (Johnathan), Jeffrey Magruder and Taylor Magruder (River New); and his sister-in-law Roseanne Klote of Edina, MO.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
