It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Foley of Saint Charles, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Mertens and Evelyn Mertens; her sons, Ricky Foley and Ken Foley (Shanna); and her brother Don Mertens (Boots).

She is survived by: her boyfriend Richard Borders; her son John Foley; her grandchildren, Kirstin and Sean Foley; and her siblings, Joan Mertens (Erlin Perlado), Dean Mertens (Robin), Sharon Dale (David), Dennis Mertens (Margaret), Sue Petruso and Dan Mertens. She is also survived by great-grandchild on the way, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
