He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Begley; his children, Colleen Campanella (Frank) and Edward Begley (Michelle); his grandchildren, Trevor Begley, Macie Begley, Mia Campanella and Tony Campanella; and his sisters, Theresa Benoist (Larry) and Betty Begley.

Memorial donations may be made in James's honor to St. Jude, Backstoppers, and Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital.
