With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Burdick of Saint Charles, Missouri, born in Charles City, Iowa, who passed away on April 6, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton R. Burdick and Anna Burdick; and his sister Elaine Olsen (Tony). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Burdick; his children, Kelly Spearman (Tom) and Tiffany Branson Hicks (Andrew); his grandchildren, James Schuler, Josh Branson, Sarah Hicks and Silas Hicks; and his siblings, Kenneth Burdick (late Mary) and Russell Burdick (late Evelyn).

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart.

Memorials may be made in James's name to Visiting Nurses Association.
