He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred "Sonny" Mayer and Helen Mayer; his brother John Mayer; and his in-law Jay Heckenkamp (Diane). He is survived by: his wife Diane Mayer; his children, Michael Mayer (Tori) of Carmel, Holly Andronicescu (Cristian) of Boynton Beach and Kelly Mayer of St. Charles, Missouri; his grandchildren, Helen, Abigail and Jonathan; and his in-laws, Barb Ross (Steve), Nancy O'Donnell (Gerry) and Tracy Heckenkamp.
