He is survived by: his children, Jim Powell, Jr. (Vivian), Maribeth Campbell, Jr. (Ed), Cindy Powell and Jay Powell (Susan); his grandchildren, Alysia Hill (Sean), Jim Powell, III (Jamie), Ryan Kolasch, Brett Kolasch (Kasey), Hunter Powell and Cody Powell; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Grace, Jake, Luke, Jack and Charlee.
