He is survived by: his children, Gary Brooks (Cynthia), Leanna Higgins (Ronnie) and Roger Brooks; his grandchildren, Heather Brooks, Ryan Brooks, Sarah Caldwell (David), Jamie Higgins, Ben Higgins (Jenise), Zack Brooks (Jess) and Philip Brooks; his great grandchildren, Jackson Brooks, Collin Brooks, Max Brooks, Belle Brooks, Alex Brooks, Ella Rose Caldwell, Henry Caldwell, Braeden Higgins, Hannah Higgins, Charlie Brooks and Dexter Brooks; and his siblings, Mary Massey and Billie Sprouse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless treasured friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301).
