She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Orf; her parents, Marie Cova and Louis Cova; her son David; and her grandsons, Christopher Vitale and Bobby Orf.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Braye (Colby), Sharon Vitale (Tony), Denise Tayloe (Roger) and Linda Bauer (Mark); her grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor (Dan), Patrick Orf (Kelly), Melissa Vitale, Nicholas Bauer (Bridget), Adam Tayloe (Ashley), Kayla Ribaudo (Mikie), Allison Kratzer (Adam) and Alec Tayloe; her great grandchildren, Nora, Laine, Eve, Isabel, Lydia, Natalie, Ellie, Victor, Charlotte and Clyde; and her brother John Cova (Linda).
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
