As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend Isaac Houston Lanier and Aileen Wilson Lanier; his wife Nancy Christiansen; his stepchildren, Aaron and Cortney; and his brother Paul. He was also cherished by many extended family members, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, St. Louis Chapter, in John's honor.
