She was predeceased by: her husband Loren Choate; her parents, Frank Johner and Mabel Johner; her daughter Carla Sue Kaase (Ron); and her siblings, Sharon Marquardt (Lew), Lee Guttmann (David), Peggy Johner (Jerry), Mern Hanes, Sonny Johner and Chick Johner.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Choate (Lydia); her grandchildren, Rebecca Fancher (Greg), Zachary Alan Kaase, Michelle Marie Kaase and Hannah Lydia Choate; her great grandchildren, Harrison Fancher and Imogen Fancher; and her sibling Lynn Ahrens (Lowell).
