She was predeceased by: her parents, David Leiser and Hortense Leiser; and her cousin Janet Schulze. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Georges; her children, Tammy K. Norman-Shaw (John T. Shaw), Christina M. Buehrig (Stephen P.) and Anthony J. D. Georges (Jennifer D.); her grandchildren, Kyle, Jaclyn, Joshua (Amanda), Addie (Anthony), Chelsey, Alexander, Sierra, Michael (Meghan), Sebastian, Rachel and Sabrina; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Tatum, Odin, Skylar, Brooklyn, Paisley, Sophia and Gwenny.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Karen's name to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or Evelyn's House, 1000 North Mason Road, Creve Coeur, MO 63141.
