He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wehmeier and Clair Wehmeier; and his siblings, June Munzert (Johnny), Clarence Wehmeier (Eleanor), Ray Wehmeier (Ruth) and Alyn Wehmeier (Betty).
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Wehmeier; his children, Lee Wehmeier, Jr. (Susan), Gary Wehmeier (Micki), Nick Wehmeier (Christine), Kent Wehmeier (Kris) and Carolyn Jenkins (Troy Carter); and his grandchildren, Lindsay Wehmeier, Jordan Jenisch (Connor), Kirsten Wehmeier, Max Wehmeier, Alec Wehmeier (Mia), Stephanie Shepard (Josh), Andrew Wehmeier (Shelly), Kristen Wehmeier, Alesandra Wehmeier (Nicole) and Stefan Wehmeier.
Memorials may be made in Lee's name to American Red Cross and First St. Charles United Methodist Church.
