She was predeceased by: her son Joel Fehrmann; and her parents, Robert Fehrmann and Mary Fehrmann. She is survived by: her siblings, Janet Grelle (Jack), John Fehrmann, Peggy Whalen (Pat), Lucy Corbett (late Tom), Elaine Cook, Ken Fehrmann (Mary) and Julie Meyerhoff.
Serving as President of the Eastern Missouri Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, helping to organize Out of the Darkness walks, and organizing Advocacy Days at the Missouri State Capitol were among her many efforts.
