She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony and Clara Boehmer, Sr. (Meyers). She is survived by: her husband Clarence A. Steinhoff; her children, Glenda Ell (Mark), Jeffrey Steinhoff (Christine), Karen Holzum (Neal), Tim Steinhoff (Melissa) and Monica Nixon (Bob); her grandchildren, Mark Ell (Kathryn), Amanda Andres (Nathan), Kelsey Lehning (Kyle), Kaitlyn Steinhoff, Kent Steinhoff, Todd Pieper, Savannah Pieper, Ethan Nixon, Travis Nixon and Danielle Nixon; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Andres and Evie Andres; her siblings, Dorothy Colbert (late Bill), Lorraine Schomaker (Danny), Toni Steinhoff (Willis), Anthony Boehmer, Jr. (late Terri), Brenda McKinzie (Jim), Beverly Kenny (Kevin) and Arlene Coleman (Billy); and her friend Barb Bott.

Memorial contributions in Marilyn's name may be made to ALS Association St. Louis Regional Chapter and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
