She was predeceased by: her parents, Benard Wirth and Lillie Lanzer Wirth; her husband Frederick G. Semke Jr.; her granddaughter Natalie Kleeschulte; and her sisters, Lillie Kremer and Lucille Arft.
She is survived by: her children, Frederick B. Semke, III (Patricia), Suzy Schultehenrich (Brian), Von Semke (Brenda) and Carolyn Kleeschulte (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Grace Weber (Shannon), Rosemary Werner (Nicholas), Frederick C. Semke, IV (Caroline), Abby Schultehenrich, Todd Schultehenrich, Molly Schultehenrich, Ryan Semke, Brooke Semke and Sara Kleeschulte; her children, Emett, Emery Schultehenrich, Jordan James, Evelyn Weber, Andrew Weber, Matilda Werner, Beatrice Werner and Otto Werner; and her sister Lillie Wirth.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baue Funeral Home - St Charles (620 Jefferson St, St Charles, MO 63301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John United Church of Christ (405 S 5th St, St Charles, MO 63301).
Memorials may be made in Marlene's name to the Alzheimer's Association or Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
