She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ernst and Lucille Ernst; her sisters, Alice Gambill (Ples) and Kathryn Genco (Joseph); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Louise Lauer and David Lauer (Bertie).

She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Lauer; her children, Monica Farrell (Robert), Theresa Siebel (Scott), Tom Lauer (Tina), Christopher Lauer and Steve Lauer; her grandchildren, Michael Siebel (Huimin), Keith Siebel, Nicholas Farrell, Josh Lauer, Angela Farrell and Courtney Lauer; her great grandchildren, Elise Siebel and Emil Siebel; her siblings, JoAnn Cwiklowski (Bob) and Jim Ernst (Leona); and her sisters-in-law, Rita Solomon (Martin) and Jeanine Drumright (Lee). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
