She was predeceased by: her husband Charles F. Gierse, Sr.; her parents, Charles McDaniel and Edna McDaniel; and her sister Vera Brune (Donald). She is survived by: her sons, Charles Gierse, Jr. (Donna) and James Gierse (Jo); her grandchildren, Lisa Duesing (Chris), Katherine Hollis (Jason), Brian Gierse (Robin), Margaret LaMore (Adam) and Matthew Gierse (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Hailey, Caleb, Hannah, Ethan, Jennifer, Amelia and Sarah.
