She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Madsen; her parents, Dale Eckley and Frances Eckley; and her siblings, Dorothy Brain, Mary Gilliland and Dallas Eckley.

She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Madsen (Cindy) and Matthew Madsen (Lynn); her grandchildren, Mackenzie Dwyer (Jack), Ally Madsen, Machaela Madsen, Hannah Madsen and Jackson Madsen; and her siblings, Jean Lacey, Janet Maddy, Diana Eckley, Dennis Eckley and Brenda Lamansky. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
