It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norman Palmer Hicks (Saint Charles, Missouri), who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Keller and Neta Mae; his brother Patrick Hicks; and his wife Lorraine. He is survived by: his children, Larry Hicks, Debbie Paule (Chris), Tim Hicks (Nancy) and Laura Hamilton; his grandchildren, Kevin Paule (Tori), Matthew Paule, Michael Paule, Jessica Bortfeld (Bryan), Meagan Parrett (Anthony), Ryan Hicks, Kayla Hamilton, Justin Hamilton (Alexis) and Carly Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Liza, Jade, June, Brent, Paige and Eleanor; and his cousin Janice Sweatt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

“Palmer was one-of-a-kind. I think of him and see his (usually somewhat mischievous) smile. I hear his voice teasing me as he often did, and saying fun Palmer phrases like “finer than frog hair”. We speak of him frequently, almost always accompanied by the fact that he’d probably forgotten more about refrigeration than most would ever know. He was old school before that was a thing, and was a man that was easy to like & respect. We extend our deepest sympathies to the family. Judy & Doug Reynolds”
