He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Hugo and Helen Lena Thiele; and his son Mark Roger Thiele. He is survived by: his wife Betty Juanita Thiele; his son Otto Kenneth Thiele, Jr. (Natalie); and his grandchildren, Otto K. Thiele, III (Jovanna), Nicholas A. Thiele, Matthew Thiele (Deanna) and Jennifer Taylor Thiele.
