He was predeceased by: his father Timothy McDonald; and his close friend Doug Kitowski. He is survived by: his mother Linda McSpadden; and his siblings, Timothy McDonald Jr., Amy Marie Stevens and Paul Alexander Chavez. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
