We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 92, Porter Gene Hood of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Hood (Porter); his parents, Fenton L. Hood and Thela B. Hood; his son Edward E.; his brothers, Raymond Hood (Gloria) and Dean Hood; his grandchildren, Melissa Marie Hood and Jamie Glass; and his great grandchild Rebecca Ann.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary D. Hood (Daffany), David G. Hood and Roy L. Hood (Sue); his child-in-law Kim Hood; his grandchildren, April Davidson (Shawn), Jessica Hood (Roger Johnson), Christopher Hood (Danielle), Neale Glass (Angela), Bradley Hood (Emily), Victoria Menke (Corey), Rebecca Hood (Mitchell), Aimee Hood (Cyrus Taylor) and Samuel Hood; and his great grandchildren, Mikel, Thomas, Savannah, Camden, Brecken, Brandon, Addyson, Nolan, Nora, Noah, Walter and Roy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Baue Funeral Home - Cave Springs (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301).
Memorials may be made in Porter's name to the Salvation Army.
