He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Bekebrede; his parents, Walter Bekebrede and Edna Bekebrede; and his children, Joan Bekebrede, David Bekebrede and Scott Bekebrede (Linda).

He is survived by: his brother Bill Bekebrede (Mary); and his children, Jean Moorman (Don), Gary Bekebrede (Laura), Rick Bekebrede (Karon) and Gail Quick (Terry).
