He is survived by: his son Rick Hurd (Vickie); his granddaughters, Michelle Harris (Brad), Angela Keagy (Adam) and Kimberly Moore (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Matt Keagy, Josh Keagy, Curtis Harris, Corrin Sarquist (Aaron), Nick Keagy and Rolen Moore; and his siblings, Anne Smith and Julian Hurd.
