He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles John Metzger and Letha Madelyn Metzger (Abbott); his brother John Metzger; and his in-laws, Larry Scott, Linda and Terry Wendell.
He is survived by: his wife Marylin Metzger; his daughters, Kathryn Metzger and Ellen Johnson (Nate); his grandson Owen Johnson; his sister Abby Lang; and his in-laws, Ruth Ann Scott and Bob Forbes (Lori). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many incredible friends.
