He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Porter and Edna Porter. He is survived by: his wife Bette Littrell; his children, Michael (Peggy), Susan Schneider (Bob), David (Jan) and Paul (Diane); and his grandchildren, Sarah Hodges, Stephen Schneider, Katherine Mattern, Daniel Schneider, Ryan Porter, Megan Brayfield, Zach Robinson and Jacob Porter. He is also survived by his family dearly, and was called 'Papa' by his grandchildren and 'Great Papa' to his great grandchildren.
