He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Cottrell and Lorena Hoskins Cottrell; his wife Nancy I. Foust; and his brother Bert Richard Cottrell. He is survived by: his children, Lori Davis (James) of O'Fallon, MO and Tony Cottrell (Keri) of Canton, MO; his grandchildren, Rebecca Gallagher (Matthew) of O'Fallon, MO, Andrew Cottrell (Emma) of La Grange, MO, Hannah Cottrell of Brentwood, MO and Elizabeth Koeniguer (Grant) of Nashville, TN; his stepgrandchildren, Logan Davis of Pasadena, TX, Alexis Vivas of Cypress, TX and Mason Davis of Pasadena, TX; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Green of O'Fallon, MO, Peighton Gallagher of O'Fallon, MO and Madison Gallagher of O'Fallon, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
