He was predeceased by: his parents, George Phillip and Stella Schnur; and his brothers, George, Arville, James, Joseph and Clinton.

He is survived by: his children, Gina Boyd and Todd Schnur (Diane); his grandchildren, Abigail, Caitlin, Joseph, Amelia and Stella; his great grandchild Trey; and his girlfriend Mary Duke.
