He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Pemberton; his parents, Edgar Pemberton and Ivy Pemberton; his children, Trudi Kane (Joel), Stephen Pemberton (Catherine), Tina Byus (Bret), Tracy Thompson (Andrew) and Heather Wright (James); his grandchildren, Chris Byus (Grace), Tanya Niewedde (Matthew), Scott Byus (Jensen), Megan Pemberton, Kelsey Wright, Tiffany McMahan (Colin), Johnathan Thompson, Elizabeth Pemberton and Rachel Thompson; his great grandchildren, Ella Byus, Emma Niewedde, Rosalie Byus, Colton Niewedde and Lydia Byus; his siblings, Iris Johnston (Hillary), Barbara Donald and Eric Pemberton (Patricia); and his siblings-in-law, John Portman and Jeannette Portman. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
