He was predeceased by: his mother Freida (Kuhlmann); and his siblings, Kenneth Schachsieck, Grace Schachsieck and Adele Leroy (Schachsieck). He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Schachsieck (Keenoy); his daughters, Donna Kahne (Mike), Barbara McDonald (Mike), Linda Westenberger (Bob) and Carol DuFrenne (late Mike); and his grandchildren, Brian Behrens (Julie), Meghan Belongia (Sam), Stacey LaBarge (Jeff), Michael Kahne (Sara), Kelly Hall (Mike), Jenna Forcioli (Laurent), Danielle Dowling (Adam), Sara Mojek (Chris), Ryan Kahne (Selena) and Ean DuFrenne. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family members, and dear friends.
