Ruth Sophia Schuerman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025, at the age of 102, Ruth Sophia Schuerman of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer J. Schuerman; her parents, Elmer Gutermuth and Nora Gutermuth; her daughter Marla; and her sibling Goldie Hampton.
She is survived by: her children, Chester Schuerman (Hope) and Joyce Schiermeier (late Gerald); her grandchildren, Mark Schuerman, Susan Tormala, Jocelyn Coates, Jason Schiermeier, Kelly Palermo and Brian Jeffries; and her brother Walter Gutermuth. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (3866 Old Hwy 94 S, St Charles, MO 63304). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery (3866 Old Hwy 94 S, St Charles, MO 63304).
