She was predeceased by: her parents, James Crews and Irma Crews; and her husband Roger L. Melton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Cox (Marc), Connie Gunnarson (Rick) and Roger J. Melton Sr. (Julie); her grandchildren, Gretchen Garcia (Xander), Bradley, Ginger, Kevin, Connor (Allie), Lucy, Roger J. Jr., Lucas, Jacob and Maximilian; her great grandchild Ashton Garcia; and her brothers, Robert Crews, William Crews (Janet) and James Crews (Melinda).

Memorial contributions may be made in Sharon's name to the Backstoppers, Inc.

A private burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
