With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas A. Rich (Saint Charles, Missouri). Thomas, born on October 31, 1946, passed away on May 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Robert; and his parents, Milburn Rich and Helen Rich Schultz. He is survived by: his wife Tomoko; his children, Michael Rich (Jessica) of Tarzana, California, Karina Kuder (Douglas) of Oâ and Andrew Rich of Redmond, Washington; his grandchildren, Lucas, Katie and Dahlia; his sister Polly Giessing (William) of Chandler, Arizona; his nephews, Bill Bode (Kathy), Jeff (Laura), Chris and Tomokoâ; and his siblings, Shinichi Adachi and Kyoko Mikami (Yoshihisa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, MO (8750 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, O'Fallon, MO 63366). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
